We receive waste paper and cardboard from various companies and institutions. We compress this material into bales and sell it to paper and cardboard factories. The Netherlands leads the way when it comes to recycling waste paper and cardboard. Paper containers, compression trucks and sea containers collect almost 2.4 billion kilos of waste paper and cardboard in the Netherlands every year. More than 70% of the used paper and cardboard is recycled, once companies such as ours have sorted it into different weights that can be used as a raw material. New paper and cardboard are produced using an average of 75% of waste paper and cardboard and 25% fresh wood fibre. Cardboard boxes and newsprint are made from an average of 90% waste paper and cardboard.
